HONORABLE MENTIONS- WHITE CHRISTMAS, I’LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS, LET IT SNOW

Let’s start from the bottom to the top

Coming in at number 10 is
MANHEIM STEAMROLLER.
Now I know this isn’t a singular song. But listen to me. Manheim steamroller is a cornerstone of the Christmas song season and you cannot single out a song from them.

Now that I am on albums though number 9 would have to be
TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA.
Allow me to give you some background. This orchestra took some Christmas music and then they put some modern instruments to them. In the album I have to single out my favorite pieces. They are the silent nutcracker, wizards of winter, and the prince of peace.

JINGLE BELL ROCK
A good fast song. It’s a change from the usual slow paced song but it is still worth listening to. This cracks the list at number eight mainly because I have others that are better than this.

THE TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS
This song is a classic and it makes sense that I would put this on my list. Besides that fact, it gets stuck in your head very easily.

THE TWELVES THINGS OF CHRISTMAS THAT ARE SUCH A PAIN TO ME
A twist on the classic and it is hilarious. The best part of this song absolutely has to be the guy about the lights.

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU
A nice love song that everyone likes to hear around this time, even single people. It’s a catchy tune that you may find yourself singing to.

I’M GETTING NOTHIN’ FOR CHRISTMAS
A song about a young kid stating all the reasons why he isn’t receiving anything for Christmas this year, it’s a Fun tune to sing with.

THE TOP THREE:

GRANDMA GOT RUN OVER BY A REINDEER
I have yet to meet a person who hates this song. It is fun to listen to and I will sing along when I remember the words.

THE CHRISTMAS SHOES
People hate this song and I can understand that. However I enjoy this song and I did sing it with my friends once. The fun thing about this is if the song plays on the radio when we are together we will immediately stop what we are doing and begin singing along.

MR. GRINCH
Holiday classic. There cannot be a single person who has heard this song and hates it. The Grinch is an original Christmas tale and this song deserves its place in Christmas song history.
